#WaronWomen: Hillary Clinton, Wage Gap Perpetuator

With the 2016 campaign slowly but steadily ramping up and Hillary Clinton being the probable Democratic nominee, you can certainly expect the Left to try to make the so-called “War on Women” an issue again. You can probably expect the widely debunkedwage gap” to be brought up. So, when Hillary Clinton makes a statement like this:

All we need to to is look at the data for her Senate office’s wages. Yes, she paid her female staffers less than her male ones. From Brent Scher at the Washington Free Beacon:

Hillary Clinton portrays herself as a champion of women in the workforce, but women working for her in the U.S. Senate were paid 72 cents for each dollar paid to men, according to a Washington Free Beacon analysis of her Senate years’ salary data.

During those years, the median annual salary for a woman working in Clinton’s office was $15,708.38 less than the median salary for a man, according to the analysis of data compiled from official Senate expenditure reports.

This is blatant hypocrisy on Clinton’s part. We have and will find plenty of other examples of Hillary hypocrisy, but it is not often that a case is as obvious as this in politics. Don’t expect the national media to hold her accountable, though. They’re too busy building the meme that she’s inevitable in 2016.
