It’s been a rough week for Kyrsten Sinema’s campaign to win retiring Sen. Jeff Flake’s Senate seat. Tuesday it was revealed that she has a thing for partying with and defending terrorists, such as “Blind Sheikh” Rahman’s attorney/conspirator Lynne Stewart. As Streiff noted, Stewart went above and beyond any duty to ensure her client had a fair trial. She represented him on appeal and helped him to skirt restrictions on communicating with his followers, putting Americans at risk.

Now, video from a 2011 speech to the Texas Stonewall Democratic Caucus has been posted in which she didn’t hold back on how she really feels about the state’s residents.

The race is extremely close, and Sinema has gone out of her way to cover up her radical past. She campaigns as a moderate and knows she has to have cross-over voters to win. Those voters might not find her stand-up routine quite as funny as Democrats in Texas did:

…Arizona: Coming to a state near you. Over the past several years people have watched what has happened in Arizona and be like, “Damn, those people are crazy. Is it something about the water?” “No, there’s nothing wrong with the water…they’re called Republicans.”

But the bigger problem is this line:

“I want to talk to you about some of the things that I think that you can do to stop your state from becoming Arizona.”

As Guy Benson noted over at Townhall, that’s pretty darn offensive. “Sinema is asking Arizonans to elect her to represent them. She thinks they’re crazy people and that other states should go out of their way to avoid being like her own constituents.”
