Brit Hume on #ALSEN Election: 'Two Missiles Heading Toward the GOP'

Brit Hume this evening on Tucker Carlson Tonight gave an interesting and accurate description of the special election for U.S. Senate in Alabama.

There are 2 missiles heading toward the GOP party in regards to the Alabama special election. This is a night where the GOP doesn’t win

Hume is absolutely right. Regardless of the outcome in Alabama, the Republican Party is going to take a hit.

One missile is a Democrat from Alabama being seated in the U.S. Senate for the first time in 20 years. This cuts into the GOP’s slim majority.

The other missile is Roy Moore being seated as a Republican U.S. Senator and becoming the bullseye for Democrats targeting the GOP as having a sexual misconduct problem.

Either way, the Democrats score a hit.
