The rebellion against Donald Trump from within his own nominating party continues as Business Insider’s Oliver Darcy reports that some RNC staffers have stopped doing their jobs for the Trump campaign. The troubles could even lead to a mass exodus of staffers.

“They’re dropping their duties to the campaign,” the source told Business Insider. “Turning their attention to Senate/House.”

“Folks at the RNC are disgusted,” the source said.

“Expect RNC [staffers] to start leaving if Reince doesn’t act,” the source added, referring to party chairman Reince Priebus.

As we’ve reported, word is that the RNC is halting Victory Project funding to the Trump campaign, and several GOP leaders and politicians have rescinded their support. RNC spokesman Sean Spicer has denied a ton of these reports, including Darcy’s. However, something big is going on in the RNC, as evidenced in Brandon Morse’s post from earlier regarding an emergency RNC meeting.

If the RNC staffers are in revolt, however, it means that there are some people within the organization with an actual conscience, which is somewhat refreshing at this point. Hopefully, when they do get out of Dodge, they’ll find work that is a lot more meaningful than having to work for a trainwreck of a party and campaign. Reince Priebus, however, has a pretty big dumpster fire going on behind him and he seems blissfully unaware.
