Not all heroes wear capes.

A father of three daughters who were abused by US Gymnastics team doctor Larry Nassar couldn’t contain his rage any longer. In a packed courtroom during victim statements, Randall Margraves asked the judge to grant him just “five minutes” in a locked room with disgraced pedophile. He said even just one minute alone would be all he needed.

Naturally the judge declined his request (but who among us doesn’t wish she could have allowed it?). That’s when Margraves took matters into his own hands and lunged at Nassar. Deputies quickly stepped in and handcuffed Margraves.

“I want that son-of-a-bitch!” yelled Margraves as the guards restrained him. “Give me one minute with that bastard!”

Kudos to the men in uniform who also must have been fighting every urge to let this man exact his revenge.

No parent alive can fault Margraves’ rage, and while it is a good thing that our justice system is not predicated on revenge there are still some instances when we wish a little street justice would suffice.
