Former President Bill Clinton has suddenly weighed in on the recent arrest of his personal friend Jefferey Epstein.

On Monday, Clinton pulled a “New phone. Who dis?” on Epstein by releasing a less-than-enthusiastic press statement.

In it, Clinton denies he had any prior knowledge of Epstein’s crimes and says he hasn’t even seen the disgraced billionaire in a decade.

Not everyone is buying it. Perhaps not anyone, in fact given that it has been proven that he has traveled with Epstein multiple times and even recently, even ditching his secret service detail at several points.

Speaking of Bill Clinton, it was learned in 2016 that the number of times he traveled with Epstein was more than double what had been previously reported (26 instead of 11) and that he’d ditched his Secret Service protection on at least five flights. These flights all took place in the same time frame allegedly covered in the soon-to-be-unsealed indictment (2002-2005).

NRO’s David French smelled the fish before it even landed in the Twitter pond.

Clinton’s quick response when most of Epstein’s friends are laying low is a red flag in itself. He may have drawn more attention to their involvement rather than soothing any curiosity, for the reasons French points out.
