Trump: I'm not Advocating for Guns in Classrooms, I'm just Advocating for Guns in Classrooms Sometimes (VIDEO)

If that headline is confusing to you, then I defy you to watch this clip of Donald Trump on Fox and Friends and tell me if you can come up with a better one. Here is Trump contradicting himself twice in the span of the same sentence as to whether he believes teachers should have guns in classrooms:

Rough transcript follows:

Trump: I don’t want to have guns in classrooms although in some cases teachers should have guns in classrooms, frankly, because teachers are, you know, things that are going on in our schools are unbelievable, you look at some of our schools, unbelievable what’s going on – but I’m not advocating guns in classrooms, but remember, in some cases, and a lot of people have made this case, teachers should be able to have guns, trained teachers should be able to have guns in classrooms.

Look, don’t ask me what Trump’s position is on whether there should be guns in classrooms, because after watching this clip, I don’t know – and frankly, defending the nonsense things that come out of his mouth is not my job.

Meanwhile Trump last night was indignant that anyone could have misunderstood his crystal clear position on the issue:

Sheesh, Hillary, it’s perfectly clear: he said he only wants guns in classrooms sometimes, not all the time, so how can you say that he wants guns brought into the school classroom?
