CONFIRMED: Americans Don't See Hollywood Celebs as Role Models

Paging Meryl Streep. Ms. Streep please pick up the white courtesy phone in the lobby. Rasmussen Reports released a new poll that confirms what I’ve known for quite awhile, most Americans don’t look to Hollywood for role models. Someone call Oprah…the celebrities are going to need a good cry.

Following Meryl Streep’s Golden Globes speech criticizing incoming President Donald Trump, most Americans see Hollywood celebrities as politically to the left of them and dismiss the stars as poor role models.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that just 20% of American Adults think most Hollywood celebrities are good role models. Sixty percent (60%) say they are not, while another 20% undecided.

One would think the election results would have been a leading indicator for the celebs, but instead it seems to have inspired them to be more obnoxious. From their sad sack video begging the electors to flip their vote to the grandstanding at the Golden Globes, Hollywood believes that America cares what they think. And no amount of evidence will ever change their mind.
