Just days ago Nikki Haley said that while Bashar Al-Assad was threat, the current plan was not to remove him from power. After the recent chemical weapons attacks in Syria, Rex Tillerson, Secretary of State announced today that the Trump administration has shifted policy.

If “steps are underway” to remove Assad from power in Syria, then the next logical question becomes, “What are those steps?”
