Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to introduce all of you to Nikki Haley, the next Governor of South Carolina:

…and Tim Scott, the next Representative for the First Congressional District of South Carolina:

We’ve been covering and supporting Nikki’s progress in this race for over a year now; Tim showed up on our radar somewhat later.  Both candidates appealed to us with their strong conservative credentials, their determination and energy, and their principled campaigning; and we are as pleased as anything to see them win their nominations.  They were hard fights, but both Nikki and Tim earned them.

So let’s go get them elected, so that we don’t have to retract what we said about them above the fold.
