Yesterday I had the opportunity to have a phone interview with Frank J Fleming, who is of course the author of the soon-to-be seminal work Punch Your Inner Hippie: Cut Your Hair, Get a Job, and Make America Awesome Again. There are folks who may wonder what this book is about, but having read it I have to say that the title of the book more or less sums up the message in the text*. We spoke for quite some time on the joys of inner hippie-punching, and why doing so should be a priority for all right-thinking Americans:

*It should of course be noted that Frank is speaking metaphori… oh, why am I bothering? The people who will (and probably have, although I haven’t noticed**) go ballistic over this won’t stop going ballistic simply because I point out that this is a work of political humor, and not an actual how-to book on how to hit a guy in a tie-dye hemp shirt. I might as well keep the joke running.

**If there’s a nastier thing that I could have said about those people, I can’t think of it offhand.
