And now, the results in the IMPORTANT Wisconsin Supreme Court election tonight.

File – In this March 15, 2016 file photo, Justice Rebecca Bradley, left, and JoAnne Kloppenburg listen during a Wisconsin Supreme Court debate at Marquette University in Milwaukee. In two state Supreme Court races, Kloppenburg has been largely defined by attack ads coming from conservative groups. Her success this time around may depend on whether she’s done enough to define herself, whether she’s gotten enough support from liberal groups and whether she’s capitalized enough on her opponent’s troubles. Oh, this was a problematic one: Republican Rebecca Bradley versus Democrat JoAnne Kloppenburg for the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Sitting WI Supreme Court Justice Bradley was an appointee by Governor Scott Walker*, and Court of Appeals Justice Kloppenburg has been chasing a seat on the WI Supreme Court since 2011. The exit polls argued that Kloppenburg would win… and it turns out that the exit polls were too generous. Decision Desk has called the race for Bradley.

This one was a nail-biter, folks – but all’s well that ends well. What makes this particularly fun is that Hillary Clinton – who lost Wisconsin tonight, by the way – went after Bradley pretty hard in a speech a couple of days later.  Didn’t seem to help Kloppenburg much…
