Greta Thunberg is even now on a sailing back to Europe.

She made an appeal searching for transportation after the climate change conference she was trying to attend in South America, COP 25, switched its location to Madrid.

She got a ride back on a 48 foot catamaran, La Vagabonde, leaving from Virginia accompanied by her father, Svante, Australian YouTubers Riley Whitelum and Elayna Carausu, and their baby, Lenny, and the skipper, Nikki Henderson, heading for Portugal.

But while Thunberg was allegedly trying to save carbon emissions by sailing back, Henderson flew from Britain to help sail the catamaran back to Europe.

So basically that completely countered the whole point.

Her trip from Europe to the U.S. had the same problem. At least two people had to fly in to sail the boat back to Europe.

There’s also hidden emission problem on La Vagabonde, as the Daily Wire observed.

Her yacht was, indeed, made of petroleum products. In addition to solar and hydro power, the fiberglass craft is equipped with two diesel 30hp engines, according to Multihull Central, a boat-reviewing site, as noted by climate skeptic Tom Nelson.

“The irony of protesting capitalism and oil on board a carbon-fiber (petrochemical) yacht owned by European royals who made billions operating Monaco as a tax haven was rich,” CFACT President Craig Rucker said, The Washington Times reported.

That, too, brought criticism.

“Greta’s return boat, an Outremer 45, weighs 17,400 pounds and is made of fiberglass, or fiber-reinforced plastic. The yacht was pumped out of the ground by oil companies. It draws auxiliary power from twin Volvo Diesel engines,” wrote one person on Twitter.

Greta had an op-ed published on Friday, despite still being on the boat, in which she said that fossil fuels are “literally” killing mankind, and that they threatened “our very existence.” She also let the true purpose of her mission slip, noting that the “climate crisis” agenda is not just about saving he environment, but about fighting the “colonial, racist, and patriarchal systems of oppression.”

It’s never really about whatever the hot cause of the moment is, in this case, climate change. It’s always about the control and the overturning our system. Not to mention a whole lot of virtue signaling like this.
