Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) got blasted big time when she tried to claim a win after Amazon just decided to open an office in New York, in Manhattan, with the plan to have 1500 jobs there.

You may recall the huge hullabaloo when Amazon pulled out a deal to build an headquarters in Long Island City, Queens, earlier this year because of the opposition of people including Ocasio-Cortez. That cost New York at least 25,000 jobs and billions of dollars. Plus all the attendant jobs and money that would have produced from construction to more people buying in the area.

As my colleague Sister Todjah reported, 1500 jobs in Manhattan in a rented office doesn’t even compare to what was lost. Not to mention, AOC didn’t get the 1500 jobs back, they came despite her efforts against Amazon. Hardly a win. Certainly not deserving apologies. Not to mention, AOC is still operating under the delusion that tax breaks not being given to Amazon equals “billions saved,” as though that’s actual money that can be used elsewhere.

While Democrats have been fooling around with impeachment in a game they will lose if it gets to the Senate and pretending they’ve had wins while posing on a big yellow couch, Republicans have been quietly working away actually getting significant things done.

Many of these are young, under 50 years old, helping protect the Constitution for generations to come.

And Team Mitch let Ocasio-Cortez know it in a classic response to her tweet. Suzanne Youngblood Lane, digital director for Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, trolled Ocasio-Cortez in a big way.

Savage! Team Mitch, for the win!

Benny Johnson even got in a chaser hit on AOC.
