On Sunday, Senate Judiciary Chair Lindsey Graham (R-SC) committed on “Face the Nation” to investigate further into former Vice President Joe Biden and the questions surrounding his son Hunter’s foreign business dealings in regard to Burisma and elsewhere.

First, Graham blasted the unfair impeachment process, saying, “I have nothing but disdain for this.” He said Democrats had a two year investigation that yielded nothing and “wasn’t enough” for them. “I think this whole thing is a crock.” He said Democrats were “weaponizing impeachment” and he wanted to end it because he “hated” what they were doing.

He was asked about the word that Rudy Giuliani had found a lot of information in Ukraine.

Graham said he was willing to hear from Giuliani if he wanted to talk to the Judiciary Committee about what he had found.

He said he was willing to look at all that and Hunter Biden after they dealt with impeachment because he wanted that done with.

He was then asked about the fact that he’d opened up an investigation into Joe Biden. They played a clip of how Joe Biden seemed to threaten Graham saying he was “going to go down in a way he was going to regret his whole life.”

From Daily Caller:

“Here’s the deal: this whole process around Ukraine wreaks with politics. They have done everything but take a wrecking ball to Donald Trump and his family. We’re not going to live in a world where only Republicans get looked at,” Graham said.

He said his personal opinions about Biden can’t influence his actions as a lawmaker. “As much as I love Joe Biden and I’m sincere when I say that … it’s hard for me to tell my constituents to ignore the fact that Hunter Biden received $50,000 a month from a gas company in Ukraine run by the most corrupt person in Ukraine, and two months after the gas company was investigated, the prosecutor got fired,” Graham told CBS News.

The head of Burisma’s home was raided in an investigation by the prosecutor, Viktor Shokin, on February 2. But then, Shokin was fired at the end of March after, as Joe Biden had admitted on video, he interceded to have him fired and threatened to withhold aid. It’s pretty hard to ignore the coincidence and the prosecutor has said in a sworn affidavit that he believes he was fired because of his investigation into Burisma.

That’s why Graham has asked the State Department for transcripts of the phone call/s between Biden and the Ukrainian President at the time, Petro Poroshenko.

“I hope I can look at the transcripts of the phone calls between Biden and the Ukraine … and say there is nothing there. These are legitimate concerns about what happened in the Ukraine. I love Joe Biden, but none of us are above scrutiny. I’d like to knock all this off and get back on governing the country,” Graham said.
