We can see with the current crop of Democratic candidates for the presidential nomination how far left the Democrats have moved.

This is why you’re seeing more moderate Democrats leaving and not finding a home anymore in the Democratic Party. Particularly given the lunacy over impeachment, which caused Rep. Jeff Van Drew (D-NJ) to say he would be defecting from the party, likely officially sometime this week.

When people start calling former president Barack Obama a “conservative,” you know the perception of reality is seriously out of whack.

Democratic Texas congressional candidate Justin Lecea is an example of that far-left insanity all in one package.

He sent out a slew of tweets on Sunday wishing Obama got cancer. Even after getting pushback on it, he doubled down on his opinion.

His reasoning? He called Obama a war criminal and pointed to Obama’s record on deportations and immigration. He did get ratioed, but he also got 1.5 thousand likes on his wish for Obama.

From Daily Caller:

“Y’all are defending a war criminal who was in authority during the deportation of over 3 million immigrants,” Lecea said in one of his tweets.

Lecea also attacked the former president’s record on climate change and health care.

“People are criticizing me for wishing cancer on Obama. I say that having lost a parent to brain cancer after 12 years of fighting, and getting to see just how terrible our Healthcare system is, and I still think he deserves it or worse,” Lecea said.

He also attacked Obama for buying an $11 million home in Martha’s Vineyard, pointing out how this was both privileged and lacking in recognition of the problems of climate change.

He is running in the 20th District trying to take out Democratic Rep. Joaquin Castro who has been there for four terms, so he faces an uphill battle.

He’s a socialist and his pronouns are He/They.

He represents a more radical wing where nothing is off-limits, because they think their feelings and opinions trump norms.

Democrats loosed these folks and now they can no longer control how radical they will get.
