Folks on the left are in disarray, not just because of the chaos of the Iowa caucuses.

But also because the last debate confirmed that none of the candidates really has the juice to be able to stand up to President Donald Trump in what is expected to be a bruising general election campaign.

Right now, most of the Democratic candidates are pitching as far to the left as they can in the hope of winning the nomination. But that’s leaving great fodder all over the place for Trump and the GOP come the general election, such as the Democrats’ apparent endorsement of socialism.

Media and pundits are also noting that none of them look like they’d worry Trump or be able to stand up against him.

“I don’t think there was anybody, based on tonight’s performance, who has Trump campaign quaking in their boots,” ABC’s Jon Karl declared.

Then there was CNN commentator David Axelrod.

“If you were Donald Trump and watching this debate, how would you feel abut [the candidates]? My guess is, he would feel fine about them,” Axelrod concluded.

Here’s Rahm Emanuel admitting that none of the candidates can stand up against Trump in a debate.

If even they have to admit it, it’s not looking good for Democrats.
