If the media were actually honest and covering the huge scandal of Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s handling of the pandemic and nursing home deaths, they would be reporting that Cuomo is guilty of everything they falsely blame President Donald Trump for: downplaying the virus, failing to address it promptly, not doing the right thing and then blaming everyone but himself for the results of his own actions.

Cuomo was at it again with that last part, blaming others rather than himself, for the over 5800 nursing home deaths in his state, downplaying his own March 25 order requiring the nursing homes to accept virus patents and under that order over 4500 virus patients being sent into the vulnerable homes.

He’s blamed the homes themselves, the federal government and Trump.

But now he’s attacking and blaming the New York Post, who have been breaking a lot of the stories about the scandal.

From NY Post:

“There are columnists who made this point at The Post who are 100 percent supportive of Donald Trump and that’s fine — but then believe, you know, we have to kill all Democrats,” Cuomo told reporters in Washington, DC, when asked whether the mandate came up during his meeting with the president about an hour earlier.

“I get it, I understand it,” Cuomo said from the National Press Club. “They’re open in their support of the Trump administration, and I guess their attitude is to be pro-Donald Trump, you have to be anti-Democrat, which I don’t really understand.”

Wait, what? When did the Post say they wanted to kill all Democrats? Spoiler? They never said anything that could even be interpreted as that. It’s not clear what he’s even talking about there, apart from the fact that he’s trying to smear the Post because they’ve had the temerity to report on him.

Cuomo tried to blame Trump earlier this month when he said critics could “ask President Trump” and claiming New York followed the CDC guidelines in sending the patients to the nursing homes. But the guidelines didn’t say send them to places that could not handle the problem nor did they require that the people be taken by nursing homes.

Bottom line? He can’t squirm out of it and he’s trying to take out the folks daring to report on him. Will the national media who have excessively praise him condemn this brazen attack on the Post? Not a chance.
