We see in the quote selected above what happened in the marriage debate when the Left got to dictate the linguistic terms of debate. We’ve gone from “Marriage is between one man and one woman” to “If you can’t keep it in your pants, at least keep it in the family.” Why will the Left win on every major issue of the day? The Right will self-censor and give them victory. George Orwell describes what takes place when someone gets control of debate language in 1984?

We see this linguistic reach for dominance in the current debate over immigration. This makes The Republican Party decide whether they favored open or controlled borders once and for all. They must be a party of open borders for the children.
This was brilliant political jujitsu by the president because it allows the pro-amnesty Republicans to join the Democratic Party in the vociferous use of linguistic shaming to destroy any semblance of opposition to complete and unrestrained immigration into America. The overt examples of Immigration Newspeak abound. #Refugeeriders is a great hashtag for the Twiddiots to hold forth with on why voicing support for enforcing immigration laws on these recent woebegone arrivals is obvious racism™. The Left-Atheists always love getting to tell us why we’re not being good Xians. Alinsky must be so proud.
You see, once you’ve officially decreed that someone is a racist™, their speech must be immediately silenced. If a racist™ tells the truth, the truth, ipso facto, is therefore evil. The truth must be henceforth and totally banned. And that’s the totally awesome power of mind-reading. Once you know what somebody really thinks, the truth of their words and the power of their arguments gets rendered thereafter meaningless. This is especially true if these thought criminals forgot to check their privilege before deigning to speak unpopular and unpleasant sentiments without permission.
So if you are reading your favorite right wing blog in the coming days, you will start seeing posters and commentators who speak out on the current immigration crisis increasingly getting banned. You will see them getting banned for saying things that are racist.™ If they refer to these people using terms deemed not appropriately sensitive, the back-channel call to have all of these people banned on sight is already being debated. You can read their minds because their linguistic choices reveal the sick and gibbering Klansmen that hide in their backwoods souls. They are racists™ and therefore anything they say, even if they happen to speak the truth, is tainted and invalid. The truth, if spoken by a racist™ is obviously evil.
But we’re the good guys! How could we possibly be planning to do this? Isn’t this blatantly fascist? To which I can ask a rhetorical question of my own. “What’s your point?”
Fascists use fascism for the same reason Terrorists resort to terrorism. They both work like hell. To the extent that Left completely and utterly dominates every meme on every issue in Contemporary America, the Presidency of Barack Obama has been a dominant and unqualified success.
No judge in any Western nation would have said what the crank I quoted from Australia said back in 1923. Incest, perversion and societal mayhem were aggressively pushed through thoroughgoing indoctrination and thought control. This is why censoring the language of those who oppose them is of such great importance. After all, no meaningful debate can be held on the issues until the language is properly controlled to produce the desired unanimous outcome.
