According to Chad Pergram, who covers Congress for Fox News, Senator Cory Gardner (R-CO) told Fox his wife had received a threatening text message.

Pergram also tweeted that Gardner revealed his family members have been doxxed:

Amid Kavanaugh furor & threats to mbrs, Sen. Cory Gardner (R-CO) tells Fox that his wife received a text with a video attachment showing a gruesome beheading. Someone has has also released the names of and addresses of his family members.

Doxxing is increasingly being used to threaten or punish people for their politics. Last week, a Democratic congressional staffer (who has since been fired) was arrested for posting Republican senators’ personal information on Wikipedia.com.

This is unacceptable. Hopefully whoever is behind the text and doxxing is found as quickly as possible.
