House Intel Committee Chair Adam Schiff’s despicable parody reading of the July Trump/Zelensky phone call two weeks ago was so outrageous that even Democrat journalist George Stephanopoulos corrected the record when House Speaker Nancy Pelosi lied falsely claimed Schiff had used “the President’s own words.”

Though Schiff is far from the only Democrat to dishonestly assert that President Trump asked Ukrainian President Zelensky to “make up dirt” on Joe Biden (Rep. Ted Lieu is another who has made similar erroneous comments), he’s been one of the most prominent and powerful to do so, especially considering the role he holds in the impeachment inquiry process.

But over the weekend, Biden himself make a similar statement in response to a tweet from Trump on the issue, saying that Trump asked Zelensky to “manufacture lies” about him:

The former vice president is entitled to his own opinions, but he is most certainly not entitled to his own facts.

There is literally no request anywhere in the transcript of the call from Trump towards Zelensky that references “making up dirt”, “manufacturing lies” or anything that comes close to it. There’s just not. You can read the transcript for yourself if you believe otherwise or want to double check.

While Schiff’s, Pelosi’s, Lieu’s, and now Biden’s rewriting of the transcript of the call is infuriating, it also tells us one big thing: That they have to make up things that happened on the call itself because they know now there was was 1) no quid pro quo on the call and 2) there were no requests whatsoever to “make up dirt” on Biden.

They’re telling lies about the call (which most of the Trump-hating media let them get away with) to drum up support from the American people for an impeachment inquiry in a critical election year. If they really had the goods on Trump, they wouldn’t need to fabricate things that simply aren’t true, and they would go forth with holding an actual impeachment inquiry vote to make everything nice, neat, formal and official.

It’s like the Russia collusion hoax all over again, with almost exactly the same players. It remains to be seen if the American people ultimately end up seeing Sham Part 2 for what it is.
