In addition to perpetually being in Orange Man Bad mode, the mainstream media, liberal commenters, and Democratic politicos have been in Code Red/High Alert/What’s He Gonna Do Next mode after last week’s successful strike against Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Gen. Qassem Soleimani in Iraq.

So naturally after Tuesday night’s failed Iranian “missile” strikes (where, thankfully, there were no American or Iraqi casualties), some of them kicked up their unhinginess (is that even a word?) several notches in response.

This morning after logging on to social media, I noticed #IvotedforHillaryClinton trending. As of this writing, it still is. As you might have already guessed from the hashtag, it’s full of people basically declaring in so many words “Don’t blame me for this Iran mess, I voted for Hillary Clinton.”

The tweet below, written by self-described “award-winning multimedia journalist” David Leavitt was/is one of the more popular posts being retweeted by other Hillary fans and is a prime example of the mindset behind the hashtag:

The only problem with openly bragging about voting for wannabe Queen Hillary is that eventually reality intrudes, and that’s exactly what happened today when people who didn’t vote for her pushed back:

Feel free to join in the hashtag with your own reality checks. They are much-needed. 🙂
