As I wrote Wednesday, the mainstream media became very triggered after White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany joined many other prominent conservatives in pushing back against the media’s/left’s/Twitter’s concerted efforts to dispute and downplay Republican concerns that mail-in ballot voting is ripe for voter/election fraud.

To quickly recap: After McEnany posted a lengthy Twitter thread detailing examples of mail-in voter fraud and allegations of such, Tampa Bay Times political editor Steve Contorno rushed to find out whether or not McEnany has ever voted by mail. As it turns out, she has, 11 times in 10 years.

It wasn’t the “gotcha” that Contorno and his media colleagues thought it was, as McEnany explained in a two-tweet statement noting there was a difference between absentee voting where the voter requests a ballot vs. mail-in voting, where the state just mass mails ballots to the names and addresses on their voter rolls, the latter of which is what President Trump and other Republicans object to.

In an appearance she made on Fox and Friends this morning, McEnany put an exclamation point on the distinction after being asked about the Tampa Bay Times “report”, and specifically referenced a Real Clear News write-up on how 112% of Los Angeles County is registered to vote.

Watch McEnany break it down below:

As I noted yesterday, our media firefighters either do not know the difference between a voter actually requesting a ballot be mailed to them vs. the state just mass mailing ballots to the names and addresses on voter rolls, or do know the difference but are deliberately conflating the two anyway because Orange Man Bad.

It’s not a good look either way, not at all.
