While everyone was enthralled by the “tears of rage” speech given by Cory Booker today when he was haranguing questioning Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen about Sh**hole-Gate and her general mauling by all manner of Democrat senators, some actual real news was made.

California Senator and rumored presidential hopeful Kamala Harris asked Secretary Nielsen a question that was actually relevant:

Harris gives a long-winded wind-up asking if DHS has followed through on a promise made by ICE director, Tom Homan, when he was acting DHS secretary, to try to arrest elected officials who will not cooperate with ICE enforcement actions.

“The Department of Justice is reviewing what avenues might be available.”

I can’t see this going all that far. But the idea of throwing some mayors of sanctuary cities in jail has quite an appeal to it.
