Trump Scores a Big Endorsement

It’s done.

Count it as game over. Fold up the tables and send the players home.

Donald J. Trump has won the coveted Chachi endorsement. If you’re like me, you were holding your breath, wondering when this would come and who it would be. Now we know.

Scott Baio, the Hollywood giant, who broke out in the 70s, first appearing as Fonzie’s younger cousin, Chachi Arcola, on “Happy Days,” and then later starred in the spinoff series, “Joanie Loves Chachi,” as well as several ABC Afterschool specials in the early 80s, has broken his silence.

Last night, on Fox’s Justice with Judge Jeanine, Baio declared:

“When he speaks, I understand him. He speaks like I speak… I want him to go into Washington and blow it up.”

There you have it, folks. Scott Baio has captured the essence of the Branch Trumpidian movement. No substance. No policy. Just anger at the so-called establishment.

Cutting off your nose to spite your face.
