Jesse Ventura's Appeal to Reinstate $1.8 Million Award Against Chris Kyle's Widow Rejected

This will be the best news of the day.

Former WWE wrestler, former Minnesota governor, and current loathsome slug, Jesse Ventura, got a well-deserved kick in the teeth, today.

You may remember that Ventura was disgusting enough to bring a defamation lawsuit against the estate of America’s most decorated sniper, Chris Kyle, which means he was willing to take the bread from the mouths of a widow and her two, small children.

Ventura sued in 2014, claiming Kyle’s book, which included a segment where he recounted punching out somebody he called “scruff face” in a bar, hurt his reputation.

Ventura said that the tale was untrue, and that it damaged his reputation among fellow Navy SEALs.

Because suing the widow of a true American hero after he’d been murdered and wasn’t around to defend his position wasn’t damaging to his reputation, whatsoever, right?

Initially, Ventura was awarded $1.8 million from Kyle’s estate, which put his widow, Taya, and their children in uncomfortable straits.

In June of 2016, however, a federal appeals court tossed out the award.

Ventura, being the eunuch he is, attempted to get the ruling reinstated, but according to Fox News, it did not go in his favor.

The Supreme Court on Monday turned away former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura’s bid for reinstatement of a $1.8 million verdict in his defamation case against the estate of slain Navy SEAL and “American Sniper” author Chris Kyle.

The justices didn’t comment in leaving intact a decision by the 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals to upend the verdict.

And this is a good thing.

Ventura could, potentially, bring the case up in Minnesota for a new trial, but it is unclear if he would be willing to keep pursuing it, at this point.

This one is a win for everybody. Ventura has proven himself to be the most craven of opportunistic mercenaries, preying on widows and children.

He should be treated like a pariah, everywhere he turns. It would serve him right.
