WATCH: Trump Tweets as Read by "Gollum" Is the Best Thing Ever

Andy Serkis is an amazing stage and screen actor, who is probably best known for his motion-capture work.

Motion-capture is a process of capturing the movements of people, then using computer enhanced mumbo-jumbo to overlay an image, in order to transfer it to video to make the movements appear more fluid and realistic.

A better explanation would be to note several of Serkis’ more famous characters: “Caesar,” the leader of the ape rebellion in the reboot of the “Planet of the Apes” movies (“War for the Planet of the Apes” debuts in theaters on July 14), and as “Gollum” from the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy.

Serkis appeared on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” on Tuesday night, to promote his upcoming film, and Colbert made a most Colbert-esque request.

The host asked Serkis if he could read several of Donald Trump’s tweets, in the voice of “Gollum” and it was awesome!

The fun starts at about the 4:00 minute mark.

Honestly, I thought the voice of Gollum had to be some sort of computer trick.

And is it weird that I will probably hear Gollum’s voice with every Trump tweet, from now on?
