Family Feud: Activists Plan to Use Trump’s Daughter’s Own Words As Protest Tool at Florida Rally
This is going to make for some interesting chat around the Christmas dinner table.
President Trump is due to rally in Pensacola, Florida on Friday. A Democratic group has borrowed from the words of his daughter, the devoted Democrat, Ivanka Trump, to launch a protest outside of the rally.
The mobile billboard, paid for by Democratic group American Bridge, will display statements Ivanka made when news first broke claiming that Moore molested a 14-year-old girl and preyed on teenage girls. Trump is expected to further boost Moore at the rally.
“There’s a special place in hell for people who prey on children,” Ivanka said at the time. “I’ve yet to see a valid explanation and I have no reason to doubt the victims’ accounts.”
The plan by the group is to circle the Pensacola Bay Center for four hours. The truck will bear the image of Ivanka, as well as her quote. Over the loudspeaker, alerts will read out the comments made by Ivanka.
This will be a lovely feature leading up to the rally, and all through the rally.
“Try as Trump and the Republican Party might, there’s no way to escape the truth about Roy Moore or Ivanka Trump’s own words,” said American Bridge spokesperson Allison Teixeira Sulier. “It’s a disgusting new low that the President, the RNC, and the rest of the Republican party are trying to help send a pedophile to the US Senate, and the American people won’t soon forget it.”
And it’s one that will stick. Republicans will have a hard time extricating themselves from this, especially when Democrats seem to be expelling their perverts.
To be clear, nothing has been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt against Moore, but he’s done very little, in the way of presenting a convincing defense against what are compelling stories of misconduct.
President Trump has only recently thrown his full support behind Moore, stating that Doug Jones, Moore’s Democrat opponent, would be awful for the MAGA agenda.
