Trump Reportedly Fuming Over Nikki Haley's Practical Approach to His Accusers

With the focus on sexual misconduct, of course President Trump plays a role.

Over a dozen women came forward before the election and gave their accounts of mistreatment from Trump.

The official White House position is that every woman that claims mistreatment from the serial adulterer is a liar.

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley was asked about those who had accused Trump, given this climate of zero tolerance for sexual harassment that has swept the nation, in an appearance on “Face the Nation.”

Haley didn’t mince her words, simply to spare the boss embarrassment.

Said Haley:

“They should be heard, and they should be dealt with,” Haley said Sunday on “Face The Nation.”

“And I think we heard from them before the election. And I think any woman who has felt violated or felt mistreated in any way, they have every right to speak up.”

All in all, not a caustic or accusatory statement.

Haley handled it like a diplomat.

Meanwhile, the word is, President Trump is spitting nails over that very mature, reasonable comment.

Two people familiar with Trump told the AP he was enraged by her remarks. Trump has reportedly grown most frustrated with the claims in recent weeks, comparing the situation to that of Roy Moore, the Alabama special election candidate accused of committing multiple sexual transgressions with teenaged girls when he was in his 30s.

It’s not quite like Roy Moore’s situation. He only had 6 or 7 ladies accuse him of wrongdoing. Trump had 16.

Regardless, let’s hope Trump doesn’t take this out on Haley. She’s the jewel in his cabinet’s crown, right now.
