OH, I was expecting this. I mean, there’s no way Saturday Night Live could let this particular Trump White House departure escape them, given the wild tales of Omarosa Manigault Newman’s sudden and “lively” ouster.

As reported late last week, Omarosa, a reality TV mainstay, and former contestant on Trump’s “Celebrity Apprentice,” was removed from her job as director of communications for the White House Office of Public Liaison.

Seriously. That sounds like a made-up position.

While both Omarosa and the White House insist it was her decision to move on, with her official final day being January 20, 2018, the reports from other sources have said otherwise.

Namely, she was tossed out. White House chief of staff John Kelly did the firing, and when she attempted to storm the White House residence to speak directly to Trump, she tripped the security alarms and was escorted out by the Secret Service.

And while everybody plays down her departure, the Secret Service confirmed that her security clearance had been revoked (for somebody whose official last day is still a month away).

Saturday Night Live’s send off was brief, but hilarious.

Cast member Leslie Jones made her appearance as Omarosa on the SNL “Weekend Update” set, interacting with Michael Che on details of her White House exit.

Che began:

“It was announced that Omarosa Manigault Newman was fired from her White House job, whatever the hell that was,” anchor Michael Che said. “My guess is secretary of the sunken place.”

“But, Omarosa’s firing did prompt this outcry of support from black women,” he added before showing a variety of clips, including laughter from interviewees and “Good Morning America’s” Robin Roberts saying “Bye, Felicia.”

Indeed.

Jones entered and demanded a retraction, clarifying that she left on her own.

“I deactivated my ID card. I changed the locks on my own office. I escorted myself off the premises. And then I threw myself into the bushes,” she added.

Yup. Sounds legit.

The clip is truly giggle-worthy.

Laugh now. The coming tell-all book will probably deliver nothing but groans and headaches. Omarosa is just the type of bunny-boiler Trump will come to regret.
