Trump Pal's Email Regarding Julian Assange Meeting Leaked

Roger Stone talks to reporters outside a courtroom in New York, Thursday, March 30, 2017. Stone, a longtime political provocateur and adviser to President Donald Trump, is being sued over a flyer sent to 150,000 New York households during the state's 2010 election that called the Libertarian Party candidate for governor, Warren Redlich, a "sexual predator." A recent story of interest to the ongoing Russia probe is that of an email from longtime Trump pal and former campaign adviser, Roger Stone, to former Trump campaign aid, Sam Nunberg.

In the email, Stone claims to have had dinner with WikiLeaks founder, Julian Assange.

The significance of this is that WikiLeaks has long been believed to be working on behalf of the Kremlin by U.S. intelligence. They released DNC emails obtained from a hacker called Guccifer 2.0, now proven to be a Russian intelligence officer.

Stone has claimed to have been in contact with both, interestingly enough.

OANN recently obtained the email sent from Stone to Nunberg and made it public.

Apparently, Nunberg sent stone a recent poll showing Hillary Clinton up over Trump by 15 points. Stone replied with “enjoy it while u can.”

“I dined with my new pal Julian Assange last nite,” Stone wrote in the August 2016 email to former Trump campaign aide Sam Nunberg.

When it first came out several days ago that this email was out there, Stone blew it off as a “joke,” saying he’s never spoke to Julian Assange and that he’d flown to Los Angeles the night before sending the email. Odd joke, especially considering everything that transpired after the email was sent.

These aren’t the kind of “jokes” that are aging well, given the ongoing investigation into Russia meddling in the 2016 election. Special counsel Robert Mueller is said to be looking into the possibility of Stone communicating with Julian Assange .

While he’s at it, he should check out Sean Hannity, who we know for sure has been using “safe channels” to communicate with Assange. There should be no quarter given for those who conspire with enemies of our nation to harm our republic, in any way, and that includes attempting to manipulate the outcome of a lawful investigation.
