This Will End Well: Virginia City Asks Public to Rename Jefferson Davis Highway

First the good news. Alexandria, Virginia’s city council actually voted last year to rename the portion of Jefferson Davis Highway that runs through their borders. So this isn’t a knee-jerk reaction to antifa thugs demanding that all the monuments be torn down and all the things be renamed.

The bad news is that the city council has asked the public to help them come up with a new name for the highway, which leads to the Pentagon, Reagan National Airport, and Arlington National Cemetery. And, well, we all know how these things turn out.
