In a move that surprised not a single person, Fox News today announced the signing of Tomi Lahren as a contributor. She is expected to make her debut tonight on Hannity.

You’ll recall that Lahren left TheBlaze under less-than-ideal circumstances after she appeared on The View and bashed pro-life conservatives (plus, there were many reports of Ms. Lahren not being very good at making friends behind the scenes).

Lahren has a large following on social media, so Fox is likely looking to take advantage of that in order to improve their sinking ratings. Many on the right question Lahren’s conservative bona fides, so it remains to be seen if her presence will attract a larger audience.
