Ben also went on to have an eventful conversation with GayPatriot aka Bruce [follow him on twitter also] on the GOProud/Tea Party letter and my response to it. For the most part, Bruce, Ben, and I -even though I was not in that segment – agree.

I think that what voted in the Republicans was mainly fiscal issues that was the focus of many of the Tea Parties. And to never suggest that social issues should be shunned. But there is a time and place for the social issues and that time is not now. And much of the social issues should be dealt with at a local or state level. Most deal with Personal Law, which has been the jurisdiction of the states, not at Federal Level
