Action Expresses Priorities.

Open Thread

As we slide ever closer to the edge of the fiscal abyss, it is important that we understand the priorities of the principles involved in the debt ceiling negotiations.

For Republicans the priorities have been clear for some time, cut the debt, cap the spending, and balance the budget.  For the Democrats they’ve really only shown one priority, increasing “revenue” aka tax increases, a priority which they couldn’t pass even when they controlled all of Congress and the White House.

The President has shown that he has a different priority.  He is going to continue to focus on what really matters…  his 2012 campaign.

Behold, via American Action Network’s facebook page:

Of course this doesn’t surprise me, the man is given to extreme bouts of narcissistic behavior.  Whether it be a throw away line of “I won” or storming out of negotiations when challenged, all signs lead to his priority being him.  And nothing more.

And this is true no matter how many times he tells you that you are a unique snowflake.

P.S. Consider this an open thread.

Is this the best you can do…wondering why Democrats didn’t raise taxes during the Great Recession.\? Good grief. Can anyone honestly be this dumb?

Before you ban me, dare to answer me first.

I’m just mocking you guys between playing with my kids.

Thanks for letting me know I hit the target.

you have puked onto this site today, calling anyone else dumb is the most moronic thing you could have posted. Even the idiots on KOS would laugh at your obvious lack of intelligence and grasp on reality.

But why would anyone ban you? Every site needs a house joker to entertain the masses. As long as you perform that job well, you will be safe. But then again, morons such as yourself are not able to produce more than one or two laughable thoughts in a lifetime, so you will eventually bore us, and then they will delete your pathetic account.

The entire point of the article was about Obama’s priorities, number one being his re-election.

Aaron pointed out that the D’s couldn’t raise taxes when they held the House, Senate, and Presidency, but now they feel that they should raise taxes. Why now? Because the economy is doing so much better? No, it is because they want the R’s implicated in raising taxes. To provide cover when the elections roll around.

And if you didn’t understand this post, well…I think you answered your own question with a great big affirmative.

    Thanks for playing!
