Counting is Hard

Jim Geraghty reported yesterday, in this hilariously titled article, on Democrat Lee Fisher’s equally hilarious overestimate on volunteers joining him for the Fourth of July parade in Northland, Ohio. Today I saw the below video and had a good chuckle.

.

Fifty: I do not think it means what you think it means, Mr. Fisher.

You can read more about Fisher’s opponent, Republican Rob Portman, at his campaign website.

They must have been counting on the Army of Lovers.

But it just didn’t travel well.

I forget the details, a couple of months ago, might have been in Searchlight, NV. The same incident in which Dem crazies threw eggs at the cars going to it and blamed Republicans, and Breitbart was threatened while shooting video of it. Seems like it might have been Norah O’Donnell calling that one. It has her peculiar counting skills.

Anybody able to find the video footage of those ‘dozens’? I can’t get to it while I’m at work.

Thanks buddy. I think FNC called this one a 5000-10000 person crowd.

“Hundreds, maybe dozens”. What idiots in our media.

is you go to the parade at least in every gubernatorial year and you carefully observe who is on or walking with each governor candidate’s float. Then you evaluate which group of a**h*(es, incompetents, and graspers you’d prefer to have as your bosses, and that’s how you decide who to support.

that he’s counting ALL of the democrat volunteers and not just his??? hmm… or maybe he was counting the Republican ones and got mixed up..

Northland is a section of Columbus, a neighborhood name, not an incorporated town or city. There used to be a Northland Mall and there is a Northland High School, but no “Welcome to Northland” signs.

Northland is a generally liberal section of the city, though. Perhaps these folks are supporting Jennifer Brunner instead of Lee Fisher?

It’s been a convenient ignorance, arithmetic, especially when formulating budgets (not that they still do that these days – too much math).

Oh, sure, some people will say it’s not a question of accuracy, but of integrity, and that Fisher is being dishonest. But why on earth would an honest man be a Democrat in the first place?

. . . Especially the two libs running for cover at the end. If the American people keep standing up in their righteous fury, Fisher will be glad he had a head start over his fellow travelers.
