Renee Ellmers (R-NC), took on Henry Waxman (D-CA) in spectacular fashion today in a joint House-Senate hearing on the payroll tax cut extension.

“What you say is completely and totally incorrect.”

Unfortunately a transcript is not yet available, but Rep. Ellmers takes the whole committee to task on ineffectiveness, useless rhetoric, and grandstanding, in a classic rant. It is especially satisfying to hear someone in Congress call out Democrats on their use of “emergency” rhetoric after failing to take care of any of our economic problems, or even pass a budget, last year. More of this, please.

      I love it. She is a rising star in the party and I plan on sending her some money towards her re-election

      Liberals have been feminizing our men and making our women more like men (in attitude and career…though a lot of liberal women take it even further…ewww!).

      Now if Boehner could just stop crying for a few minutes and get his manhood back, maybe we could get somewhere and force the budget issues down the Dems’ throats. Oh…who am I kidding!

    she’s incorrect on one part. I’m a federal employee and I’m on a 2 year pay freeze. Maybe there’s other types of federal employees she’s talking about.

    I feel sorry for republicans at times knowing they have to put up with such idiotic and sometimes dumb dems who really don’t know what they are doing. Seeing dems smiling is the typical game face, they’ll circle up and chat as if she was ignorant while still not comprehending their role in gov.

    Waxman is one of the tools who wasted tax dollars and time on baseball steroids and other pointless committees.
