Proof: Hillary Clinton Is the Donald Trump of the DNC

Some days you really start off right. Like today, when one of the first news stories I came across was the one from The Hill reporting on how Democrats are ticked off at Hillary over her comments while abroad. I laughed at the familiarity.

This is what we read (and say) all the time on the right! “Sources” explain why something Trump said really ticks them off, how they think it hurts the GOP long term, if only he would shut up for five seconds. You know this song. But this time, it’s not about Trump, it’s about Hillary.

From The Hill:

In interviews with The Hill on Tuesday, even the staunchest Clinton allies as well as longtime advisers say the comments were cringeworthy and ultimately detrimental to Democrats.

“She put herself in a position where [Democrats] from states that Trump won will have to distance themselves from her even more,” said one former senior Clinton aide. “That’s a lot of states.”

Another Clinton surrogate questioned the decisionmaking behind Clinton’s remarks. For months, some Democrats have been arguing that Clinton’s sentiments have been counterproductive to the party’s rebuilding efforts.

I love this so much. I was already 100% on board right here, but then it got even better.

“She’s annoying me. She’s annoying everyone, as far as I can tell,” said one 2016 Clinton surrogate. “Who lets her say these things?”

That is the most perfect biography of a person I’ve ever seen. Slap a cover on it and publish it.

Hillary is awful. When she is out front, almost anyone sounds good by comparison. She could lose an election to just about anyone, even a loudmouth jerk with few qualifications. And if she stays out front (and she will), she’ll keep helping Republicans win.

She’s their Trump. Except, you know, he has a job.
