Reagan was my first real President. I’m not saying that in the way many liberals said Bush wasn’t their President. I mean I was old enough to pay attention right around the time he was elected.

What I remember most, at 10-18 years of age was that he said things fearlessly and simply – in a way that a kid with little knowledge of current events (at the time) could understand and get behind.

Many conservatives today talk about Reagan, but let’s hope they take that one page out of his playbook. Start explaining and teaching conservatism – unapologetically, simply and fearlessly.
