Berwick controversy is laughable
jsilv Saturday, March 19th at 4:47PM EDT (link)Dr. Berwick is the nation’s leading expert on healthcare QUALITY IMPROVEMENT. The stand against him as a proxy for the battle against “Obamacare” is the wrong one to take – he is the founder of the quality movement in medicine and a hero to multiple generations of doctors (at least the ones interested in not killing 100,000 people a year). The battle against Berwick is a battle against quality improvement in healthcare, which I think is a difficult position to maintain for the GOP senators.
