Weak Republicans

There should have been outrage across the board on Berwick… not after he’s been in there a year building the treacherous footings of Obamacare, but up front when it mattered.

Berwick controversy is laughable

Dr. Berwick is the nation’s leading expert on healthcare QUALITY IMPROVEMENT. The stand against him as a proxy for the battle against “Obamacare” is the wrong one to take – he is the founder of the quality movement in medicine and a hero to multiple generations of doctors (at least the ones interested in not killing 100,000 people a year). The battle against Berwick is a battle against quality improvement in healthcare, which I think is a difficult position to maintain for the GOP senators.
