          on this site that those who consistently do the reco-ing are part of some big conspiracy? The ones who did the regular reco’s are the ones who took the time to actually read and keep clicking the button to get the job done.

          Because we wanted to see info get out that others would want to read. Some conspiracy.

          People aren’t going to be using the Reco button for a while. You have (or had) the authority to promote good diaries. You’ll need to use it more often now.

            Even if I could promote it, I would rather it get reco’d so that it will stay on the page longer.
