Harvard Student Surrounded by Pro-Palestinian Mob in Latest Campus Madness

In a famous scene from Game of Thrones, Cersei Lannister is paraded naked down a street while people throw things at her and chant "shame, shame, shame."

While we haven’t quite reached that point yet, the madness on college campuses continues, and recently, a crowd of pro-Palestine demonstrators surrounded a Harvard student on campus and yes, yelled “shame, shame, shame” at him. The incident occurred on October 18, but video footage was only posted on Wednesday.

Watch:

The student's crime? He was videotaping them. Which begs the question: Why do all these supposed tough guys (and girls) whine like bratty kids when someone exposes their own behavior? If you’re not proud of it, don’t do it.

The incident occurred at a “Stop the genocide in Gaza” die-in demonstration by the Harvard Business School, where hundreds of participants laid on the ground and pretended to be dead:

According to the Harvard Crimson, the school’s student newspaper, the confrontation at the demonstration was sparked when the accosted student “began to film demonstrator’s faces.”

“Within minutes, he was escorted out by protest organizers, who blocked his camera with their keffiyehs — traditional scarves worn by Palestinians that have come to symbolize Palestinian nationalism,” the newspaper wrote. “Demonstrators yelled ‘shame’ at the disruptor as he left.”

One of the protesters has reportedly been identified as Ibrahim Bharmal, the editor of Harvard Law Review. This is allegedly our nation's best and brightest:

This is not the first troubling news out of the Ivy League university since the Hamas terror attacks on Israel on October 7. Within hours of the carnage, over 30 "Harvard Palestine Solidarity" groups issued a joint statement saying, "We, the undersigned student organizations, hold the Israeli regime entirely responsible for all unfolding violence."

Former University President and current President Emeritus Larry Summers said, "In nearly 50 years of @Harvard affiliation, I have never been as disillusioned and alienated as I am today."

Israeli billionaire and massive donor Idan Ofer and his wife Batia resigned their posts on the executive board of Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government in disgust. My colleague Sister Toldjah summed up the severe fallout:

The backlash was intense, with major law firms and CEOs demanding to know the names of the students from the groups that signed on to the letter - so that they would know who not to hire. Some billionaire donors and board members also walked away, disgusted by Harvard's lackluster response to the letter.

Intensifying everything was something that has been called a "doxxing truck," which would periodically circle the campus, displaying the names and faces of some of those who had allegedly signed on to the letter.

The backlash was brutal, but notice one thing that didn't happen: none of these students was surrounded, no one threatened to shoot up their mess hall, none were attacked.

Harvard Business School Dean Srikant Datar released a statement after the incident saying it was a “troubling confrontation” that “left many of our students shaken.”

“Reports have been filed with [the Harvard University Police Department] and the FBI, the facts are being evaluated, and it will be some time before we learn the results of an investigation,” Datar wrote.

Big words, but we'll see if anything changes. The real problem would seem to be in the admissions departments of many of these colleges and universities—who's letting in all these extremists in the first place?
