Daniel Goldman's Commentary on Hunter Biden and the Two-Tiered Justice System Is Mind-Blowing

Rep. Dan Goldman continues to make a case for being the most insufferable Democrat in the House of Representatives.

Over his short time in office, Goldman has managed to beclown himself on multiple occasions. In a hearing on violent crime, he attempted to call the issue a charade, at which point a witness raked him over the coals. In another hearing, he tried to challenge the credentials of reporter Julio Rosas, who served as a U.S. Marine. That went about as well for the New York Democrat as you’d expect.

You get the idea. Goldman is shameless, but he’s not good at expressing that shamelessness in a persuasive way. Instead, he just comes across as some entitled trust fund kid who thinks he’s far smarter than he actually is.

Case in point, Goldman went on MSNBC on Wednesday to proclaim that a two-tiered justice system does exist…but it’s targeting Hunter Biden. Yes, I’m serious.

GOLDMAN: So there is actually no basis to say that this is somehow political interference or a weaponization, as they say, of the Department of Justice. In fact, based on my experience, I”m shocked that Hunter Biden was even charged with these crimes. If you look at the history of civil and criminal enforcement of tax issues, and just look at Roger Stone’s case. He effectively did the same thing as Hunter Biden and he simply paid a fine.

So the fact that he’s even taking a plea deal, in my mind, demonstrates a two-tiered system of justice against Hunter Biden.

What else can you do but laugh?

Hunter Biden has been credibly accused of numerous serious crimes, including tax fraud and FARA violations. He also committed a gun crime that lands normal people in prison. DOJ protocol was violated by giving Hunter Biden pre-trial diversion on that charge.

That the president’s degenerate son only ended up being charged with two misdemeanors for failing to file taxes is evidence of bias for him, not against him. There’s a reason two IRS whistleblowers, who are both registered Democrats, are coming out and saying the investigation was rigged in his favor.

Heck, even if you want to give the DOJ the benefit of the doubt, and I don’t know why you would, the argument would be that Hunter Biden pled down to lesser charges, not that he was overcharged. Goldman is making it seem as if the only thing on the table were those two misdemeanors, and we know that’s just not true.

Putting all that aside, though, why does Goldman feel the need to defend Hunter Biden in this way? Why does he even care so much? Hunter Biden is a terrible person who needs an intervention (including a religious one), not protection from congressional members. From the abuse of women to the foreign corruption to disowning his own daughter, his behavior is grotesque. What kind of person looks at Hunter Biden and sees a victim? Apparently, the answer is Dan Goldman, and that’s really telling.
