The same organization that made a grand show with the help of Hollywood for the purpose of letting sexual predators know that their time is up and that victims of sexual assault would have their day has officially refused to help an alleged victim of sexual assault and praised an alleged sexual predator.

According to the Washington Free Beacon, “Time’s Up” CEO Tina Tchen has refused to condemn former VP Joe Biden and even praised him after Tara Reade, a former Biden staffer, came forward and accused Biden of sexually assaulting her back in 1993. Interestingly enough, Tchen used to be a former Biden staffer:

Time’s Up was created to support victims of sexual assault but declined to assist former Biden staffer Tara Reade, who accused the presumptive Democratic nominee of forcibly penetrating her in 1993. The organization’s CEO, Tina Tchen, who worked alongside Biden as a top official in the Obama White House, lauded Biden for his “transparency” in a Friday interview with MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle.

“Biden has called for full transparency, he’s called for records to come out—that’s what needs to happen every time these issues come up, and I would suggest that it needs to happen with other candidates who are running for president,” Tchen said shortly after Biden broke his silence on the network.

The “Time’s Up” organization was meant to be an organization providing legal fees and public relations help to any woman who needed it, however, it has declined to help Reade at all. As it turns out, Tchen has a long history of working with the Democratic party, including having served as Chief of Staff to Michelle Obama, whom Biden recently said he would make his running mate “in a heartbeat.”

The Free Beacon reported that Tchen doesn’t believe that the media has exhibited a double-standard at all when comparing its behavior during the allegations against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

“I think the media, throughout the movement for the last two years, I have to say, investigative journalism has done an incredible job in digging into claims and believing women and giving them at least a form in which their allegations can be heard and listened to and investigated,” Tchen said.

This is clearly a case of putting party before principles. Kavanaugh had mounting evidence of innocence in his favor with zero witnesses or corroborating evidence for claims made against him by accusers. Reade is clearly not receiving the same treatment regardless of evidence.
