The Restful President

I sure wish the RNC would run spots like this:

I think he should be clear about it, too.

This is your open thread for the day…

UPDATE: Lookee here – now it seems that our Restful President is going to add basketball to his “We will not rest” arsenal.  I’m thinking maybe this game won’t occur in Cleveland…

Republicans are responsible for crabgrass on the putting green. The WH lawn service will needs $billions to regain it’s form, and provide jobs for SEIU groundskeepers.
This is no time for partisan, divisive bickering over mulligans. The announcement over the appointment of a Lawn Czar will be made shortly as we review and finalize the short list of Communists, child molesters, and the mentally disturbed.
Did I mention muslim golfers with suitable handicaps ?

This man has no shame and no concept of shame, a grotesque arrogance and sense of entitlement, and is convinced of his own infallibility and superiority. In other words, a walking, talking case study of narcissism.

If we asked him how he thinks it looks for him to talk of not resting and then spend so much time on vacation, golfing, going to concerts, sporting events, campaign appearances, etc.I’m sure he would be confused by the question.

With a swing like his, the ball will go way left. Just makes sense doesn’t it?

“We Will not rest”, until I need to have another game of golf. That seems to be what Obama is, a man at play instead of working. Anyone that votes the crud back in 2012 needs to be strung up. Work for this idiot is a foreign concept.

They’re all like that. Obama may be worse but not by much.
And if you asked him your question, a fair one, he wouldn’t be stymied for a second. Possibly upset that you would dare to ask though.
These fools have no doubt, none.

    they deserve it.

I remember hearing a statistic that Obama has averaged one round of golf every 2 days since taking office. Not sure if its true or not, but a well-done ad itemizing how many rounds of golf, how many vacations and weekend-end getaways, and how many white house concerts Obama has enjoyed since taking office, overlayed with that same “I will not rest…….” mantra would be very, very effective.

Since they did not see fit to acknowledge God or approve of Him or consider Him worth the knowing, God gave them over to a reprobate and condemned mind to do things not proper or decent but loathsome.

That way he has less time to drill new holes foe sinking the ship of the American state.

So, no, we really do not want him busy in D.C.!

Such an ad would work only for those poor souls in “the middle” and on the Left who think MAObama actually needs to sweat for them and live down to his promises to shut Guantanamo, force workers into unions, allow abortions any time anywhere at government expense, etc.

The work he has accomplished – via the Pelosi-Reid cabal in Congress – is bad enough.

I would much rather see him playing golf than working in DC. Every minute that these morons are not in their offices is a moment when they can’t be taking further steps to embarrass and/or bring down our country.

Here in Florida, we would definitely call the two gentlemen in shirts and ties HACKERS! Let’s use a few other golf terms here. HANDICAP-Definitely a significant one for this group. How about a positive golf term but one which aptly describes these two BELOW PAR. Definitely NOT WEEKEND WARRIORS, that would offend our brave men and women in the National Guard. Lets just end this with DUFFERS, SLOW PLAY, AND WANNABES!

And from my favorite movie, I’ll take Carl SPACKLER anytime (Bill Murray in Caddyshack) over the JUDGE! But I digress, as Kenny Loggins sang, I’M ALRIGHT, YOU DON’T HAVE TO WORRY ‘BOUT ME.

    Your honor, your honor!

It shows the importance of the gym.

Being elected president forces a man to take inventory of his life, so Barack Obama has trimmed his schedule to the bare essentials….

But one habit endures: Obama has gone to the gym, for about 90 minutes a day, for at least 48 days in a row. He always has treated exercise less as recreation than requirement, but his devotion has intensified during the past few months….

The more Obama’s life intensifies, friends said, the more he relies on the gym….

“He does it every day like clockwork,” said Marty Nesbitt, one of Obama’s closest friends from Chicago. “He doesn’t think of it as something he has to do — it’s his time for himself, a chance for him to reflect. It’s his break. He feels better and more revved up after he gets in his workout.”

To accommodate Obama during the 18-month presidential campaign, aides arranged workouts for him in several dozen states. The staff called gyms a few days before his arrival and persuaded them to close late or open early to oblige the candidate’s schedule. Once, on July 17, Obama visited a gym three times within 16 hours. Other days — often before primary election nights — he flew in half a dozen friends to play a few hours of pickup basketball.

“That’s one of the first things you learn working for him: You better make sure he gets his workout,” said Jim Cauley, who managed Obama’s 2004 U.S. Senate campaign. “If there isn’t any time, he’s not going to feel his best that day. If he only gets 30 or 40 minutes, he’s still not really happy.

“You have to make time for him to exercise, at least an hour or so. You block it out and put it on the schedule, because that’s what makes him happy.”

Since the election, Obama’s daily schedule has revealed an intense focus…

But every morning around 7:30 he traveled by motorcade to the gym at Regents Park, a luxury apartment complex where his friend Michael Signator owns a condominium on the 18th floor, and where he usually worked out with Reggie Love, a personal aide and a former Duke University basketball player, or with Marvin Nicholson, his travel coordinator.

Even Obama’s closest friends said they marvel at how he has maintained his commitment. He went to Regents Park at 9 a.m. the day after his victory rally in Grant Park, on Thanksgiving Day and hours before traveling to Washington for his first tour of the White House. On Friday, Obama rushed to the gym before boarding a plane for his 12-day stay in Hawaii. He woke up the next morning on vacation, went to a gym and exited 45 minutes later in a sweat-soaked gray shirt.

Obama … wants to build a full basketball court where he can hold games on the White House grounds, and to maintain his usual routine of exercising at least six days a week.

“It’s always been a priority in his daily routine,” said Christopher Lu, a marathon runner who worked as Obama’s legislative director in the Senate and was named Cabinet secretary last week. “I think it’s an example of how disciplined he is. It’s one of the things that really keeps him balanced.”
