Failing Dems try to “F” the Tea Party movement

This morning I received a disgusting email from Trevor FitzGibbon of fitzgibbonmedia.com signed by Erica Payne (epayne@agendaproject.org) founder and president of some entity called The Agenda Project. According to Politico’s Ben Smith, this is a so-called “progressive group with roots in New York’s fundraising scene.”

The sophomoric email asked me to suspend civility:

Set aside your good manners, your tolerance, your measured
understanding of policy differences, and your earnest do-gooder ideas
for a [sic.] just a moment to join me in telling the Tea Party what you really
think of them.

The email proudly announces that the “F*ck Tea Movement” was launched at Netroots, a.k.a. Nutroots, and was a “major presence” at the College Dems’ annual convention. Enough from these defenders of civil discourse. You get the picture.

As most RedStaters understand, the Tea Party is a popular grass roots movement of Americans so offended by the efforts Obama and his leftwing supporters to lurch the country far to the left that they have taken to politics. They are as mad as hell and aren’t going to take it any more. Because of this the Tea Party movement is perceived as a threat to those pushing Obama’s extremist agenda.

As they did when threatened by the elevation of Governor Sarah Palin to the national stage, Democrats have resorted to demonization to attempt to discredit the Tea Party movement and remove the threat.

The Democrats failed efforts to disparage the movement have included:

  • Attempts to paint the Tea Party Movement as racist.

Having miserably failed in all these efforts the Liberal/Progressive Democrats now try another despicable campaign — this desperate “f*ck” the Tea Party Movement campaign.

Tell Erica Payne what you think of her campaign to “f*ck” the Tea Party movement. But please, try to keep it civil.

Hardcore liberals and common sense as well as tact are terms that rarely come together.

    • newland65

Problem is, you can’t get the truth out of any of them..

  • Achance

Seriously, they are never civil and they expect us to always be so. I’m willing to bet that I can out profane and obscene any of them because I’ve done it and had it done to me by the best of them in thirty years plus of dealing with unions.

As I discussed in one of my posts on Vassar’s thread, these people behave they way they do because they are accustomed to having no effective opposition. Let’s OPPOSE them!

    • dave2131

aren’t “allowed” to act that way. There is a major double standard, and if we react that way we’ll be the ones who get labeled as racists, fear mongers, bigots, etc…We have to be the adults, and oppose them by being informed and participating in “grown up” debating. Basically, kicking their ass with with correct information.

      • Achance

that they couldn’t rat me off because they weren’t willing to admit that someone talked to them like that. So, I’m going to email her with a critique of her phyiognomy, ancestry, and sexual proclivities. I’m willing to bet she won’t put it on her Facebook page.

      • AceInTX

as if we’re children subject to anyone’s authority….

No one “allows” me to say anything. It’s my GOD given right to tell these self righteous, despicable, childish and juvenile jerks to take a long walk off a short peer and no one can tell me what I can and can not say up to the point where I physically assault someone…only Then you can say I’m not “allowed” to do something because assault is a crime…not that these jerks don’t engage in physical violence with impunity.

It’s long past time time Conservatives took on this attitude and start giving as good as we get….it works every time it’s tried….I’ve verbally accosted many of these juveniles, (though I keep it clean language wise), and it’s a true joy to see the shocked look on their faces and the stunned fits off apoplexy induced when they are confronted with their own tactics in a way that is well thought out and well reasoned to a point where they have no avenue to reply without exposing themselves as the empty, vapid, and buffoonish sods they really are

        • acat

And you’re exactly right – we need to show a little of the steel gauntlet under the velvet glove from time to time, lest they forget it’s there.

if some Lib comes up to me with his loud mouthed, crass, and classless crap…he gets it back ten fold from me…

I’m just making a larger point here. How many times have you sat by and let some loud mouthed lefty spout off around you and just kept your mouth shut because you wanted to be polite. so they just go on and on with their lies and distortions unchallenged.

I’m guilty of it as anyone….but lately I’ve taken a more confrontational stand about it and had outrageous success and many laugh out loud moments I’ll cherish forever.

I worked with a guy who is a Democrat official and he was spouting off talking points to me. it was obvious he was spewing from a talking points memo and didn’t have a clue what he was talking about and I had the impression he didn’t know whether to believe what he was saying but being a good soldier…he felt it necessary to spout the party line. The guy is a friend…I like him a lot…but anyway…I stopped him and said something along the lines of:

I don’t think you really believe that and you’re not very convincing. When you go home tonight, you need to take out your Paul Begala tapes and practice in front of a mirror so you can be more convincing.

I wish I had it on tape….it started with a sunned look followed quickly by a look of horror because his talking points didn’t give him a way to answer a retort like that. Then it turned to anger bordering on a maniacal rage….he started out mumbling and then proceeded into apoplectic fits mutter George Bush over and over again as if he were clinging to a security blanky and praying the bad man would go away and leave him alone.

Then he stomped into his office at which point he picked up a pen and sent it flying across the room followed my a note pad and a squeeze ball the guy kept on his desk,

I’d give anything to have all this on video so I could watch it over and over again and relive it in all it’s exquisite glory.

          • AceInTX

but the left? the press? The government?

            not one iota!

    • bobmontgomery

..let’s remind the Republican conservative establishment to quit carrying the DNC’s water by keeping silent or joining in when the Breitbarts are accused of racism or the Palins are accused of lack of gravitas or the Malkins savaged beyond conscience. The ones actually winning battles -Palin(Death Panels), Beck(Van Jones), Breitbart (ACORN, Sherrod) need to be congratulated and emulated.

    • Marcus_Traianus

I may be the epitome of civil discourse, ethics and etiquette. But working on Wall Street for over 25 years, I am capable of going places with language and actions they probably never dreamed of in their wildest narcotic induced hallucination. Plus, I can get groups within 1/2 MOA and still ruck a pack for at least 10 miles at a good clip. Yeah, I am that unassuming middle aged guy at the Tea Party meeting you are targeting for a beat-down. I say bring it any way you can- bunch of anarchist-sissies-liberal-weenies.

  • rdelbov

one major plan out. The Democrats have their allies have set up faux teaparty candidates and parties in NV-FL-NJ-PA among other states. Its hard to keep up with all of the reports of these fake teaparty candidates.

Sadly they not only degrade the teaparty by having the worst type of candidates in these slots but also cheat the voters by creating the false impression they are “teaparty candidates”.

I might there are legitmate candidates who are going third party this year, with teaparty connections, but one wonders if they will not receive financial help in the GE from labor and other liberal groups.

It taints the whole political process when the democrats set up front candidates and fund them in an effort to deceive voters.

    • Achance

into the non-profits and front groups. Parties and party funding doesn’t really mean much anymore. If you haven’t already, read The Blueprint.

    • dave2131

the Tea Party becoming an actual party. They can then back real Tea Party candidates. However, the downside is they would probably define the Tea Party’s views – which is one thing to you and probably something different to me. Maybe I’m wrong though.

      • taxpayer1234

Defining the Tea Party’s views would mean deciding whose “brand” of conservatisim is the best, then brow-beating members to buy that “brand.” Essentially, that would turn the Tea Party from an association of autonomous individuals into a collective–quite the opposite of what Tea Partiers want.

      • acat

Third parties do not work in this country. The system is rigged to prevent a third party from going anywhere.

The minute a third party gets traction with an issue, one of the two major parties grabs it. It’s happened every time a serious third party has come up. The Dems split off the Dixiecrats, and guaranteed a decade of Republican dominance. The Republicans voted for Perot, guaranteeing Clinton the White House.

If you really want to put the name “Tea Party” on a political party, first take over the Republicans, then make a motion to change the name.

It is unwise to promote the idea of third parties on this site. Redstate is a conservative AND GOP site. Please keep that in mind in the future.

        • swami7774

          I assume we’re conservatives before we’re GOPers.

          • acat

Mostly because I know one in six GOP candidates will do some good, and only one in three will actively try to steal my wallet. Every Dem candidate will go for my wallet. Sucker bet.

            Mew

          • Bill S

Conservative in the primary, GOP in the general

            Learn it.
            Live it.
            Love it.

          • eburke

            That’s why we’re *conservative* in the primary….

            and *Republicans* in the general.

It’s quite a simple concept, actually.

      • Finrod

Except maybe in New York, where candidates can run under the banner of more than one party. But there we already have the Conservative Party, so I wouldn’t see any advantage to also having a Tea Party there.

  • teresakoch

What a wonderful message to send to her impressionable young nieces and nephews.

I bet it looks great in all of the family photos, as well…….

    • teresakoch

      Ms. Payne,
Your grandmother is going to be SO proud when you wear that lovely dress to Thanksgiving dinner this year. What fun you’re going to have explaining what the logo means to your young, impressionable nieces and nephews! And oh, the cherished memories that you will have in years to come when you look back at pictures taken in the bosom of your family, wearing that defiant message in all of your righteous anger – no doubt the looks on all of their faces will be priceless.

I have no doubt that when your innocent grandchildren are snuggled in your lap one day, looking at old scrapbooks of your time with the “Cause”, and they look up at you with large, adoring eyes and ask you, “What does F*ck Tea mean, Granny?”, you will be more than happy to tell them all about it. After all, it’s never too early to start teaching kids how to swear like a sailor…..

And do be sure and have some anatomically correct flash cards available, because while your sweet grandchildren may understand what the word “Tea” means, I rather doubt that at such a young and tender age they will understand the concept of “F*ck” without a great deal of rather detailed explanation. And please be sure that their parents are in the room when you are describing it; I’m sure that they won’t want to miss out on all of the fun!

You go, girl – way to represent the “Party of the People” with dignity and class..

      • NoDoze

I never cease be amazed at the ignorance, ugliness, and crudeness of Leftist activists, and people on your apparent side of the political discussion. Why do you seem obsessed with the crude term f**k? The underlying act it originally described was presented as an act of appreciation, intimacy, and “love.”

Are you subconsciously saying that you appreciate and love the Tea Party? I doubt that. Are you saying that you want to violate, brutalize, and rape the Tea Party? If so, why won’t you be honest enough to say what you really mean? I think you really do mean the latter, but you know that if you said it out loud, even you would be repulsed by such imagery, and it is certain that your readers would be disgusted.

Oh, and btw, if you want to try raping, brutalizing, and violating Tea Party people, they’re ready for you!

This is similar to someone responding “so’s your old man” to something they don’t want to hear. A campaign like this comes from someone not bright enough to produce anything more thoughtful.

Such is the intellect (or lack thereof) of a leftist. I guess the “progress” in “progressive” means using profanity. Impressive (not).

Good one! But Payne is old news for us here in NH.

The NH people already knew about her Agenda group and wrote about her seemingly benign but typical leftist website… but it was a little weird to see her launch such a vile sounding campaign in conjunction with that, which makes no mention of it.

In any case, they were onto it and noticed that this is what they do — when all the fake accusations don’t work, call names.

Does her tea type meet FDA guidelines and have approval?

Will Bayer, Glaxo-Smith-Kline or Schering-Plough take issue with Ms. Erica hawking her brand of erectile dysfunction aids.

What about truth in advertising with her sales pitch….

Why is she selling such a nasty product when the Tea Party has such a clean, productive and healthy lifestyle change for the country and it is so cost effective. It won’t strip a person to their shorts, unless that what Ms. Erica wants.

    Strange.

Perot GAVE Clinton 2 terms by taking 12% of the vote in 1992 and 9% of the vote in 1996.

Tancredo is running third part this election. Big mistake.

I hope no one votes for a ballot line designated “Tea Party” and siphon votes from Reps., but I expect this game will backfire and that the Dems. will spend all kinds of time and money supporting bogus candidates and fending off lawsuits from real tea parties.

Just to get a party on a ballot line in a start requires hiring lawyers and spending fees. I hope the Dems. and their nutroots find this a very unprofitable and wasteful exercise.

In the meantime, we have to alert friends and neighbors and allies that no TEA PARTY party exists.
