Obama’s leadership rating falls to a new record low

New Rasmussen Reports polling finds only 37% of likely voters think President Obama is doing a good or excellent job as a leader. Forty percent rate his performance as poor.

The poll’s finding represents a huge shift in opinion from just a month ago after Obama delivered his State of the Union speech. Back then, 47% of voters viewed Obama’s leadership positively.

Other interesting findings from the poll Include:

  • Twenty-seven percent view Obama’s leadership style as too confrontational.
  • Female voters think the president is doing a better job than do male voters.
  • Only 35% of those who work in the private sector say Obama is doing a good or excellent job, compared to 50% of government employees.
  • Sixty-five percent  of GOP voters and 43% of Independents rate Obama’s leadership as poor.
  • And of course 70% of Democrats view Obama’s performance as good or excellent.

I’m sure Obama’s incitement of labor unrest in Indiana, Ohio and Wisconsin contributed to the sudden turn around in voters’ approval of his leadership style.

Obama is too busy talking about gay marriage and fomenting revolution in America to say one word about Libya, rockets being fired on Israel, and the Middle East oil crisis which will be devastating to our economy. Of course, exploding energy prices fit right into his master plan. It is stunning that anyone approves of him. He wants to bring this country to its knees. And he is succeeding.

While Madison roiled and Tripoli boiled the manchild attended a small business seminar at Cleveland State. He did report that the sessions he attended were “very instructive”. What a complete fool our unexperienced president is.

The only thin g I can think is that he figured this “presidenting” stuff was going to be as easy as the rest of his underachieving life. Is it 2012 yet?

Who in the hell is running this dog and pony show in DC? Not to mention how much these little jaunts are costing us. A freaking seminar at Cleveland State?

As we have just discovered. He is the shadow president. He tells Obama what to do.

Where is Daley? obama continues to go down the tubes = the good news!

Don’t you have to actually find some leadership before you can rate it? I’d say Ohbummer hasn’t yet demonstrated any leadership whatsoever. I would give him a big fat incomplete. Kinda like him voting present.

He is nothing but a campaigner and agitator, just as he has practiced in the past. Actual governing and leading is too hard for the one. Rock stars aren’t supposed to work or be questioned!

Come to think of it, I never see the rock star references anymore. Wonder why? ;)

A month ago, Obama’s strong approval was on the way up and his strong disapproval was on the way down; heck he even topped 50 percent in overall approval for the first time in quite a bit more than a year. I had even stopped going to Rasmussen’s website as regularly because it annoyed me that his polling had gone up, as silly as that sounds.

      Me, too!! Big time.

      Gallup isn’t polling likely voters.

It has nothing to do with politics anymore. This is a person clinging to a disproven, outdated worldview, and with far more in common with religious faith than simple political allegiance.

Daniels keeps shooting himself in the foot

Palin has horrible polling numbers and has sort of painted herself into a corner that’s hard to get out of.

    Newt’s polling isn’t good either.

For Polling looks like Romney or Huckabee . . . or do you think Pawlenty will start to surge?

I live in Wisconsin on the Minnesota border, and I’ve been following T-Paw for some time.

Pawlenty showed some grit in his early years as MN governor, but he caved on too much when people started calling him “presidential”, he passed a “green energy” bill that’s going to be a major train wreck in a few years, and he was McCain’s campaign manager, which can only mean he’s on-board with cap-and-trade and amnesty for illegals. Oh, and he’s big on ethanol.

He’s a good man, but I’d rather not see “McCain-lite” (i.e., “dem-lite”-lite) as the candidate.

Are you kidding me? It is beyond appalling how this President has nothing to say about the slaughter in Libya yet pours out his heart to the people of Australia. It just angers me to no end every time this country pulls an all-nighter and elects a democrat as President. They can never get foreign policy right; they can never make a tough call! They’re the worst cowards in the country. I pray this guy loses as bad as Jimmy Carter did. With what the cowardly democrats are doing in WI and in IN I hope America is seeing this and will remember to vote them out in 2012.

At this writing we don’t have the right candidate, although Gingrich, if he runs, is going to be one heck of a challenge for any one in the debates. We need to stop thinking Palin has a chance. For gosh sakes, are you srious!! C’mon America, get real! The democrats would destroy her and her family. It is actually a very real concern. We’ve dummied up the presidency so much that the candidates all have to have that phony smile and bite their lip like Clinton. We’re all looking for the guy with movie star looks, it’s wrong. Heck, at this point, where’s Nixon, I’ll take him!
