Virginia voter fraud used Voter Participation Center registration form

Stealing Virginia and maybe the presidency, Chapter 2.

Stealing Virginia and maybe the presidency, Chapter 2.

There is now a smoking gun that more than justifies the Romney campaign’s concern about the hundreds of thousands of registration forms the Voter Participation Center mailed to Virginia addresses that were partially filled out or “pre-populated” with names and/or information belonging to the recipients’ dead relatives, minor children, non-citizen relatives, already registered voters, convicted felons, and cats and dogs.

A convicted felon, living in Louisa County, Virginia, used one of the Voter Participation Center’s pre-populated forms to register to vote illegally and then cast a ballot in the 2008 presidential election. In January 2010, the felon pleaded guilty to two counts of election fraud and was sentenced to 10 years in prison with all time suspended.

According to the Richmond Times-Dispatch, Page Gardner, president and chief executive officer of the Voter Participation Center, discounts any suggestion that voter fraud can occur through the organization’s mailings. Gardner said Voter Participation Center relies on the “diligence of local election officials” to review the submitted applications, as well as on the “individual integrity of the individuals receiving the forms.”

Louisa County’s Attorney Thomas A. Garrett Jr., the guy who prosecuted the felon and is now a state senator, sees the connection, and has tough words for Page Gardner’s comments:

Garrett said Gardner is in denial if she believes that voter fraud can’t occur. “She can say … ‘We don’t know where (the felon) got it’ all she wants to,” he said. “But I do know where she got it from and it was from (Gardner’s) organization, and I got the proof. I produced the original form, which is on file and accessible to the public.” Garrett said he believes Nicholson and another felon he prosecuted for illegally registering to vote were essentially duped into breaking the law.

This is the first case of confirmed voter fraud I’ve heard of that resulted from the five million “pre-populated” voter registration forms the Voter Participation Center mailed across the country targeting Democrat-leaning voting blocs, such as unmarried women, young people and minorities. I’m sure it won’t be the last.

The only way the left can win elections is cheat. This article is proof of my statement.

In 2008, my son saw some community organizer types (he thinks they were Acorn) bring in a bunch of old folks on a bus to “help” them vote. He said these seniors were very advanced in years and didn’t seem to know what planet they were on. He said it looked like the “helpers” were basically casting their votes for them, and that most of the seniors had no idea what they were doing.

Does it matter what state? The Democrats have been doing it through ACORN and many other organizations for many, many years. They buy votes and if they can’t buy enough, then they ship in folks to vote in more than one precent.

It is one of the many things that the Democrats do well. They are good at stealing elections. They are good at buying votes. They are good ast taxing and spending. Most of their folks are professional politicians, meaning they have mostly never worked for a living. They live off other folks money.

That makes most Democratic Politicians Leeches….parasites. They do no good. They just drain the host of its vital blood and resources until it either removes them…. or it dies.

Unless we remove these parasites we are a doomed Nation. Vote Republican and vote for freedom. End slavery now. Get rid of those leeches….namely those Democrats who have made slaves of us.

Are you? Al Franken ring a bell?

…as easily as they expunged Paterno’s football wins going back to 1998. I am, of course, making the assumption that Al Franken’s win over Norm Coleman was made possible by fraudulent votes being counted in his favor. I know, this is an odd comparison, but if the NCAA can summarily rule on and sanction a member institution for malfeasance, should there not be a mechanism in our court system to rectify a stolen election?

      • renny

Coleman-Franken recount than there are reg.’d voters in MN, but they were needed to give ole Al a 320 vote win. 17,000 is A LOT OF extra votes. We cannot let that happen in any state or district this Nov.

        • From ME to You

The fact that the overcount did not trigger an investigation should prove beyond a reasonable doubt that there was illegal activity is proof of fraud

Getting and maintaining my state issued picture ID is stupid simple and is NOT too much to ask as a responsibility required to exercise my right to vote.

Keeping my voter registration up-to-date is stupid simple and is NOT too much to ask as a responsibility required to exercise my right to vote.

Finding the correct polling place and casting my ballot with everyone else on election day is stupid simple and is NOT too much to ask as a responsibility required to exercise my right to vote.

NONE of the voter registration and ID laws I have seen discussed inhibit me from exercising my right to vote in any way, and they do not concern me in the least.

The only thing that threatens my legitimate vote is the possibility of having an illegitimate vote counted, negating mine.

It seems to me that anyone who argues otherwise must have a different agenda.

we had a large “get out the vote” scam in ohio also last election. There’s a.c.o.r.n. or their copy-cats that perpetrated fraud in a number of states, most of them swing. The attorney generals of these states need to get off of their glutteous maximi and quickly. Photo i.d.’s would take care of that problem. In our township, we the people have to show ours.

All you gotta do is drag a utility bill out of the dumpster and VOILA! you are that person. The gutless legislative Republicans didn’t let a ballot challenge of the photo ID law (along with various other reforms) go forward, and now they have reopened the doors to ACORN and similar chicanery.

I really wish our Governor and especially mini-Monty (Mike DeWine) would grow some gonads. The way that they rolled over to the state issue on collective bargaining is a perfect example of not having a pair.

I think I just went in and said my name.

Republicans have control of both houses of the legislature, the governor and all state-wide offices including the SOS and AG and did nothing about voter ID. Word is that Husted wants to be governor some day. A controversial Voter ID law would hurt his political career. Pathetic.

I’m a poll worker/Presiding Judge and know just how easy it would be to commit election fraud here. As ohiohistorian said, a utility bill from a dumpster isn’t that hard to come by. I have no way of knowing that person is who he says he is. It’s completely on the HONOR system.. Either one of my sons could take one of our utility bills and vote my husband’s vote….easily, without incident. How many people whose family members are shut-ins or just too lazy (or don’t care to) vote do this? We have no way of knowing because we really don’t know WHO is voting when people vote without a photo ID. We don’t even know how many people are voting without photo ID’s because it’s not recorded anywhere.

Even worse, if someone had access to a database from a utility company and could print copies of utility bills, it wouldn’t be difficult to create a list of registered voters who don’t vote regularly and then vote “for” them.. One person could go from precinct to precinct and vote all day long. I can think of several ways to game the system when there’s no photo ID requirement. How many legitimate votes are cancelled out through fraud? We don’t know when so much is on the honor system.

And as readers of my comments will already know, the word “Cowardly” belongs in front of RINO’S.

Paula is quite right: I have watched Ohio Republican politicians kowtow to the MSM and to unions and to special interest groups and, as a result, they reek like Dems most of the time.

Which explains how, under their watch when Taft was governor, Ohio became ever more business-UNfriendly.

          Idiots and cowards!

          • http://boldcolor.blogspot.com/ Paula

Boehner is his #1 cheerleader. Will be a disaster if they follow his lead.

          • Ausonius

As Samuel Goldwyn was supposed to have said! :)

Marco Rubio makes much more sense!

I suspect Ohio will go for Romney, perhaps not by much, with or without Portman, who is not a big deal here one way or the other. I also suspect that a majority of Ohioans cannot tell you who he is.

Side note: Dem Senator Sherrod Brown has a campaign ad out: it shows him with cars made in Ohio, but does he mention that he is a Dem?

I believe you must wait for the fine print at the end to flash by to see that! :)

            Verrry interesting!

to vote is the first time I have ever heard of the left claiming a “need”, citizens who cannot afford or obtain a photo ID, and not attempting to provide a “program” to “fix” the alleged problem.
Instead the left up to and including the DOJ is doing all possible to prevent a common sense fraud prevention measure. Makes one suspicious.

  • smagar

If so, is this really a big deal? How many people will go to the trouble of obtaining fraudulent photo ID, so they can vote illegally?

  • talgus

“diligence of local election officials”. a diligence that the unions have totally removed from most government bureaucrats. why check when your jobs future depends upon you sitting on your butt and doing NOTHING.

  • renny

go out to a Rep. hdqtrs. and volunteer to be challenger, poll watcher, or judge. Judges get some kiind of miminum pay. In states that have same-day reg. and voting, I would challenge every new voter in the poll. Then each usually has three days to “prove” his/her vote is legit.

In NJ, in North Jersey, they send paid shills from site to site to vote various dead, MIA, or fake names. Christie has not followed FL in cleaning up the NJ voter rolls that are always 10-20 years obsolete and perfect for the union-Dem.-prog. coalition in the cities and northern counties. We do not have the same-day prob.

Citizen poll regulators can help stop the worst of any cheating but you have to not just b*tch about it and do something.

    • http://boldcolor.blogspot.com/ Paula

      See my post above.

As a presiding judge I can insist that only voters registered in my precinct vote and that they have some sort of ID that matches the registration. But I have no way of knowing if they are the person whose name is on the cable TV bill. Unless I have some legitimate reason to suspect they’re not that person, I can’t challenge them.

      • gekster

It is Ironic that the citizens have to prove they have health insurance,
but do not have to prove they are a citizen.
