Mr. Smith, er, Johnson, goes to Washington

First term Republican Sen. Ron Johnson from Wisconsin has just done what the Republican “leaders” of the Senate have thus far failed to do during Opuppet’s presidency: actually threaten to use the Senate rules to fight for our individual liberties and get the Senate to actually do its job:

Will Sen. Johnson actually follow through? I hope and pray he does.

Is that much common sense allowed in the US Senate chamber? I’m surprised he wasn’t expelled, or at least censured. :)

maybe we should call our own Senators and tell them the same thing.

Hope Lex Loser doesn’t kryptonite him.

thank you for fighting for the citizens and good government.

Can anyone explain or guess at why the Republicans in the Senate have not put the Dems feet to the fire over not producing a budget? Why does Mitch McConnell give Harry Reid a pass on not producing a budget?

Republican in Name only….Elitist and think they know better….Cowards…..shall I continue?

Given that the GOP has been compromising our liberties? away for the last sixty years. How many years do you think we have left?

Does anyone have any respect for congress? The predominant feeling aroused with the mere mention of them has got to be disgust. It certainly is mine. I hope Johnson kicks their butts up and down the aisles of that chamber, calling them out everyday. That would be interesting to watch.

Stand tall and keep fighting! It’s great to hear someone speak out against the establishment and for all of us little people. I’m very happy you are my senator.

We elected you to do the people’s business. Not yours…not Obama’s …not the Democrats…but ours. Now you want it behind closed doors and the only one wishing to stand up for the transparency is Senator Johnson. Well…this is how it goes….you either let us go down the tubes and raises taxes…and of course let us lose our SS…OR…we are Greece. BTW…if we don’t have anymore money…neither do you.
