Opinion: Black Lives Just Don’t Matter to Democrat Politicians

Do American Black lives matter? Of course they do, to real Americans; Americans who value people as individuals. They matter to those who place more import on the content of a man’s character than the color of his skin. Where have I heard that before? However, Black lives really don’t matter to Democrat politicians, who artificially divide people based on melanin content. These craven, sorry excuses for human beings simply use color to pervert the American way of life via the ballot box. Blacks (and other minorities) matter not one whit to Democrat political hacks (both White and Black) who view Black votes as another form of chattel to which they are entitled.

The latest American employment news is yet another indicator of that. Of course, that’s not any sort of surprise to rational human beings (which naturally eliminates most Democrat politicians). As I noted in the first days of IPOTUS Biden’s administration, his “stroke of a pen” manner of governing absent consensus, almost immediately resulted in the loss of tens of thousands of high skill jobs.

I also noted the apparent tone-deafness of such administration luminaries as Presidential Envoy for Climate Change, John “I made my money the old fashioned way; I married it” Kerry. Kerry famously told those workers that it was their own fault for choosing an evil profession. They should have instead chosen to make solar panels.

Of course, like most Democrat policies, the effects are ultimately worse on the most economically vulnerable among us…women and minorities. This is doubly true when Democrats, never the most monetarily astute, start screwing around with the economy. Their usual trope actually becomes true to life with women and minorities hardest hit.

Well, gang. The numbers are in. In an astonishing but not quite unexpected double-tap, not only are Democrat efforts harmful to the employment numbers, but their two single most loyal constituencies, Black and Hispanic females, were indeed hardest hit. From Breitbart News:

The first jobs report of the Biden administration saw black women the hardest hit by a slumping labor market.
Even though the nationwide unemployment rate fell in January, the unemployment rate for black women jumped from 7.7 percent to 9 percent, the biggest increase among demographic groups reported by the Department of Labor.

The unemployment rate for Hispanic men fell one-tenth of a percentage point to 8.9 percent. The rate for Hispanic women rose from 8.8 percent to 9.2 percent.

If Breitbart for some reason doesn’t work for you as a source, there’s this:

The latest data show the US unemployment rate stayed steady at 6.7% for the month of December. The number of unemployed persons, at 10.7 million was also unchanged, according to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). White men, white women, and Black men all registered job gains for the month in the household pulse survey, which provides demographic information. But 82,000 Black women and 31,000 Hispanic women lost their jobs.

Got that? Black and Hispanic women took an economic beating, almost entirely attributable to Biden and Democrat policies of irrational fear, fear fostered for the sole purpose of defeating President Trump and exerting ever more government control. How bad is this? AP News says:

WASHINGTON (AP) — Black women are often called the backbone of the Democratic Party — reliable and loyal voters whose support can make or break a candidate.
In 2018, they were more likely than women in any other racial or ethnic group to support Democratic House candidates, according to AP VoteCast, which surveyed more than 115,000 voters nationwide, including close to 7,000 Black women, making it one of the most in-depth available looks at the group’s political views.

But that doesn’t mean Black women are “typical” Democrats.

Not typical Democrats? Indeed.

The AP VoteCast survey estimates that 93 percent of Black women supported the Biden-Harris ticket, a gendered distinction that far exceeds the parameters of any one presidential election cycle (they also voted in fewer numbers than Black men in the Nixon and Reagan contests: 14 percent, then 9 percent and 7 percent, respectively).

Ninety-three percent! What is wrong with this picture? Ninety-three percent of Black women voters flipped the switch for a doddering Chinese puppet who has a hands and nose problem with young females, some in their early teens. He is the standard-bearer for a political party that has left them further and further behind since Lyndon Baines Johnson kicked off his Great Society.

What is wrong with the Republican Party? President Trump gained ground among Black and Hispanic voters overall. His economic policies led to two — count them two — huge economic recoveries. Why aren’t Republicans leveraging the Trump economic prowess that brought Black and Hispanic employment levels to the highest ever recorded?

Instead, we have camera (insert plural noun for ladies of ill repute here) like soon-to-be unemployed Congresswoman Lizzy Cheney and Senator Willard Romney. These two, often joined by other nominal Republicans, seem to enjoy prancing and preening in front of the cameras, while virtue signaling by badmouthing President Trump. We have a huge opportunity here, and Republicans are blowing it.

This is our opportunity to make the case to the Democrat Party’s most loyal voting block. Now is the time for us to put them on the spot. Now is the time when we point out that the Democrat Party believes black votes belong to them, no questions asked. At the very least, we Conservative Republicans should be asking, What have Democrats done for you lately to earn your vote?
